Hi, I’m Phil – the guy behind the lead.

I live in Gloucester with my dog Eric, a scruffy little cockapoo with more energy than sense. He’s the reason I got into dog walking in the first place. Before him, I worked a totally different job, but getting him changed everything. I found myself outside more, chatting to other dog owners, and realising I was happiest when I was out on a walk with a happy dog trotting beside me.

Over time, neighbours and friends started asking if I could take their dogs out too. One turned into two, two into five, and before I knew it, I was walking dogs every day and loving it.

I like getting to know each dog’s little quirks. Some charge ahead, some take their time and sniff every leaf. Some are nervous and need a bit of patience. I try to match them up and go at their pace, and make sure they’re happy (and tired!) by the time they’re home.

Eric still comes out with me most days. He’s a good little lad and usually helps new dogs settle in. And for the humans. I’m fully insured, DBS checked, and always up for a chat about your dog and what they need.

If you see a man in a raincoat with a pocket full of treats and a cockapoo trotting along beside him – that’s probably me.
